Dominion Nuclear Connecticut Incorporated has rescheduled the completion of a refueling and other work at its Millstone Nuclear Power Station in Connecticut, and now expects to restart the 1,253-megawatt (MW) Millstone 03 unit on May 30.
Talen Energy Corporation, today May 24, took the 1,247-MW Susquehanna 01 unit offline at its Susquehanna Nuclear Power Station in Pennsylvania, after an automatic reactor scram. The unplanned event is expected to end May 29.
Pastoria Energy Facility LLC's 185-MW Pastoria 03 ST 1, 168-MW Pastoria 01 CT/HRSG 1 and 168-MW Pastoria 02 CT/HRSG 2 units at its Pastoria Energy Center in California are offline due to a turbine compliance issue, vibration repairs, and to fine-tune operating systems. The repairs have been delayed slightly due to the nearby Edmonston Fire, and the event is expected to end on May 31.
