GM to Provide U.S. Army with EV for Demonstration
July 22, 2022--Researched by Industrial Info Resources (Sugar Land, Texas)--The defense arm of General Motors Company (NYSE:GM) (Detroit, Michigan) has announced it will provide the U.S. Army with an electric vehicle (EV) for demonstration purposes. GM Defense will offer up the electric GMC Hummer pickup, which is part of GM's plan to spend $35 billion on electric and self-driving vehicles through 2025, including battery and fuel cell technology.
