Argentina's Vaca Muerta Natural Gas Production Is Growing, an Industrial Info Market Brief
The Vaca Muerta Formation, located in Argentina's northern Patagonia region, is expected to see a significant growth in its oil and gas production in the coming years. One of the earliest indications is the arrival of the EXMAR's floating liquefied natural gas (FLNG) barge, Tango FLNG, which has a liquefaction capacity of 500,000 tons per year of liquefied natural gas (LNG). The facility, which will allow Argentina to export natural gas from the Vaca Muerta Formation, is expected to begin operations by May.
