Baker Hughes to Supply LNG Trains for NextDecade Project - Baker Hughes Company (NASDAQ:BKR) (Houston, Texas) said on Thursday it will supply three liquefaction trains for NextDecade Corporation's (NASDAQ:NEXT) (Houston, Texas) Rio Grande liquefied natural gas (LNG) project in Texas. Last month, NextDecade said it secured funding for a final investment decision related to the first three liquefaction trains at the project. Baker Hughes said on Thursday it had been awarded the order for the liquefaction trains by construction firm Bechtel (Reston, Virginia), and the trains can produce a combined 17.61 million tonnes per year of LNG. U.S. Crude Oil Inventories Decline - U.S. crude oil inventories fell by 1.5 million barrels last week to 452.2 million barrels, according to the U.S. Energy Information Administration (EIA). U.S. gasoline stocks fell by 2.5 million barrels in the week to 219.5 million barrels, the EIA said. Distillate stockpiles fell by 1 million barrels in the week to 113.4 million barrels. (Reuters)
Venezuela's June Oil Exports Surpassed 700,000 BBL/d - Venezuela's oil exports in June rose 8% from the previous month to more than 700,000 barrels per day (BBL/d), fueled by the restart of a key crude oil processing unit and faster approvals for cargoes departing its shores, according to shipping data and documents from state oil company PDVSA (Caracas, Venezuela). A total of 37 cargoes departed Venezuelan ports in June carrying 715,933 BBL/d of crude oil and refined products, and 294,000 metric tons of oil byproducts, according to the data and documents.
