Brazil's Braskem Completes Green Ethylene Unit Expansion at Triunfo Plant

CORDOBA, ARGENTINA--June 30, 2023--Researched by Industrial Info Resources (Sugar Land, Texas)--Braskem (Sao Paulo, Brazil) has completed the expansion of the green ethylene unit at its Triunfo plant in Rio Grande do Sul state, southern Brazil. Braskem is the biggest ethylene producer in Latin America and has four petrochemical complexes, which are in the Bahía, Rio de Janeiro, Sao Paulo and Rio Grande do Sul states; these include seven processing units that have a combined capacity of about 8,298 million pounds per year of capacity.
