June 21, 2024--Written by Daniel Graeber for Industrial Info Resources (Sugar Land, Texas)--Since 2010, Canada's imports of refined products like gasoline and jet fuel have roughly tripled, supported largely by the need to dilute the thick type of oil found in Alberta, the nation's energy regulator said. Most of that is in Alberta, which reported a record average last year of 3.73 million barrels per day (BBL/d) in production.
