Canadian LNG Projects Have Dwindled, an Industrial Info Market Brief
During the liquefied natural gas (LNG) rush, over 20 projects were proposed for British Columbia's west coast. Over time, the planned facilities were blocked and/or protested by First Nations tribes. If not the actual facility, then the needed pipeline to deliver gas to the sites were the focus of the discourse and ire. Shell's LNG Canada is the only project currently under construction in this region.
