CEEC Wins EPC Contract for Anqing Power Plant

BEIJING--August 28, 2012--Researched by Industrial Info Resources (Sugar Land, Texas)--The consortium of North China Power Engineering Company Limited (NCPE) (Beijing) and China Power Construction Engineering Consulting Corporation (CPCEC) (Beijing), two subsidiaries of China Energy Engineering Corporation (CEEC) (Beijing), won the general contract for the Anqing Power Plant Phase II 2,000-megawatt (MW) expansion project on August 20, 2012, CEEC announced on August 23, 2012. According to the contract, the Consortium will be responsible for the engineering, procurement and construction of two 1,000 MW ultra-supercritical water cooling coal-fired units together with lime-stone-plaster wet method flue gas desulfurization device and selective catalyst reduction (SCR) denitration device.
