China Resources' Yichang Xiaoting Cogeneration Power Project Begins Operations

BEIJING--March 10, 2014--Researched by Industrial Info Resources China (Beijing, China)--The first unit (Unit 1) of China Resources Power Holdings Limited's (Hong Kong) Yichang Xiaoting Cogeneration Power Project began commercial operations on March 5 after passing its full-load trial operation, according to construction contractor Hubei Electric Power Construction No.2 Engineering Company (HEPC2), a subsidiary of Power Engineering Corporation of China (Power China) (Beijing). The unit was first connected to the grid on February 21, and it completed the 168-hour, full-load trial operation only 13 days later, which is a new record.
