June 5, 2025--Written by Daniel Graeber for Industrial Info Resources (Sugar Land, Texas)--The threat from wildfires in the Canadian Rockies has diminished due to lower temperatures and high humidity, leaving much of the energy sector spared. Wildfires prompted some evacuation orders in northern Alberta late last week, and blazes across three central provinces have led to air-quality alerts across parts of the United States. Alberta's government said late Tuesday, however, that "extreme wildfire behavior" is winding down.
