August 31, 2023--Researched by Industrial Info Resources (Sugar Land, Texas)--Dangote Industries Limited (Lagos, Nigeria) continues to delay the commercial startup of its 650,000-barrel-per-day (BBL/d) Lekki Refinery in Lagos, Nigeria. The project has been followed closely by industry watchers globally, as the refinery's single Crude Distillation Unit (CDU) would have the largest capacity of any CDU in the world. Previously, the Dangote Refinery was scheduled to start the trial run for its CDU by the end of August.
