NEW DELHI--April 22, 2024--Researched by Industrial Info Resources (Sugar Land, Texas)--South Africa's state-owned power utility Eskom (Sunninghill) aims to ramp up its transmission infrastructure by constructing more than 14,000 kilometers of power lines by 2033, a staggering increase compared to the previous decade's installations. The state utility is forging ahead with plans to secure funding of R390 billion (US$21 billion).
