SUGAR LAND, TEXAS--December 14, 2023--Written by John Egan for Industrial Info Resources (Sugar Land, Texas)--Georgia utility regulators on December 19 will vote on a proposed settlement of Georgia Power's share of the costs to construct and finance two units at the Alvin W. Vogtle Nuclear Power Station. The unit additions are co-owned by four electricity companies, but only Georgia Power (Atlanta, Georgia), a unit of the Southern Company (NYSE:SO) (Atlanta, Georgia), is regulated by the Georgia Public Service Commission (GPSC) (Atlanta, Georgia).
