Northern States Power Company's planned refueling of the 671-megawatt (MW) Monticello 1 unit at the Monticello Nuclear Generating Station in Minnesota is now expected to end by May 24. The refueling began on April 17 and previously was expected to end May 14.
Energy Harbor LLC's Beaver Valley Nuclear Power Station in Pennsylvania experienced an unplanned outage event today, May 18, on its 655.92-MW Unit 1, due to a unit trip. The outage event is expected to end by Wednesday.
Dominion Generation's North Anna Nuclear Power Station in Virginia experienced an unplanned outage event on its 920-MW Unit 1, which began May 6 and is expected to end today, May 18. The event was caused by a broken condenser tube. The unplanned event previously was expected to end on May 19.
