Georgia Power Company has rescheduled the restart of the 876-megawatt (MW) Hatch 01 unit at its Edwin I. Nuclear Power Station in Georgia, after the unit was taken offline on July 1 due to a reactor feed pump leak. The restart is now expected July 7.
DTE Energy, on July 6, took 471.24 MW offline from the Fermi 02 unit at its Fermi Nuclear Power Station in Michigan, for unplanned pump and/or valve repairs. This event is expected to end July 10.
PSEG Nuclear LLC, on July 4, took 36.3 MW offline from the Hope Creek 01 unit at its PSEG Hope Creek Nuclear Generating Station in New Jersey. The flow is limited due to condenser back pressure, and the unit is holding at 97%. This event is expected to end today.
