METRO MANILA--June 9, 2025--Researched by Industrial Info Resources (Sugar Land, Texas)--Medco E&P Natuna Limited, a subsidiary of Medco Energi (Jakarta, Indonesia), has officially commenced production at the Forel Field Development Project in South Natuna Sea Block B, offshore Indonesia. A key highlight of the project is the FPSO Marlin Natuna, a leased floating production, storage, and offloading (FPSO) vessel that is, notably, the first of its kind to be entirely built in Indonesia. The Forel Field is expected to deliver approximately 60 million standard cubic feet per day (MMSCFD) of natural gas and 20,000 barrels of oil per day (BOPD), contributing significantly to Indonesia's energy output.
