Researched by Industrial Info Resources (Sugar Land, Texas)--UTM Offshore Limited (Abuja, Nigeria) has entered into a contractual arrangement with a partnership of Technip Energies (Paris, France) and JGC Holdings Corporation (Kanagawa, Japan) to perform front-end engineering design (FEED) work for the Yoho floating liquefied natural gas (FLNG) project offshore Nigeria.
JGC Corporation will be principally responsible for topside design whereas Technip Energies will handle design engineering for the hull and mooring system. The Nigerian FLNG is expected to produce 1.2 million tonnes per annum of LNG, with FEED completion anticipated in the last quarter of 2023.
