PT Freeport Indonesia is being affected by the COVID-19 pandemic. Mining activities are slowed to 50% optimum performance as a result of the pandemic. The mine management has postponed several major projects in Papua such as the construction of the SAG mill, Amampare port expansion, and the development of an underground mine until further notice.
