GALWAY, IRELAND--August 23, 2012 --Written by Martin Lynch, European News Editor for Industrial Info (Galway, Ireland) RWE AG (OTC:RWEOY) (Essen, Germany) has commissioned a new 2,200-megawatt (MW) coal-fired plant near Cologne in Germany. The twin unit plant, known as BoA 2&3, at Kraftwerk Neurath will burn lignite and be capable of generating enough electricity for approximately 3.4 million homes.
