BEIJING-- August 25, 2008--Researched by Industrial Info Resources (Sugar Land, Texas)--SinoHydro Corporation (Beijing) and Malagasy Electricity and Water Corporation (Jirama) signed the commercial contract for the installation of Unit 3 at the Madagascar-based Andekaleka Power Station on August 19. The unit is part of the expansion project for the existing Andekaleka Power Station, which has a planned installed capacity of 87 megawatts (MW). The required $30 million for the project will be funded by the Arab Bank for Economic Development in Africa.
