Tennessee Valley Authority has delayed the restart of the 1,150-megawatt (MW) Watts Bar 02 ST unit at its Watts Bar Nuclear Power Station in Tennessee. A refueling outage was pushed back due to adverse weather and related issues, and for the installation of replacement steam generators. The unit, which has been offline since March 1, is expected to restart by June 29 or when it is connected to the electrical grid--whichever comes first.
