Houston Refining LP, on August 12, began necessary minor maintenance on the 147,000-barrel-per-day (BBL/d) Crude Still 537 Unit, Sulfur Recover Unit (SRU) 434 and 43,000-BBL/d HDS 633 Diesel Hydrotreater (Ultra-Low Sulfur Diesel) Unit at its 268,000-BBL/d refinery in Houston, Texas. The event is expected to last 19 to 23 days. All previously scheduled turnarounds have been cancelled due to the refinery's closure, set for late 2023.
