Suncor's Plant 2 (East) at its 98,000-barrel-per-day (BBL/d) Denver Refinery in Colorado, remains offline. On December 27, Suncor was in the process of restarting the plant when a fire occurred. Plant 2 was shut down on December 24, two days after shutdowns of Plant 1's (West) 32,000-BBL/d Crude 1 Unit and 28,300-BBL/d Fluid Catalytic Cracker Unit (FCCU) 2 that were caused by boiler issues due to Winter Storm Elliot. It is unclear when the units will be back online.
