Valero, on March 28, reportedly shut down the 75,000-barrel-per-day (BBL/d) Fluid Catalytic Cracking Unit (FCCU) 1241 at its 325,000-BBL/d refinery Port Arthur, Texas, due to a loss of steam. Meanwhile, the 115,000-BBL/d AVU 147 (Crude) and the HCU 942 (Hydrocracker) were shut February 13 and February 14, respectively, for planned maintenance and continue to remain offline even though both were expected to be online in mid-March.
