The government published the draft environmental impact statements (EISs) for the proposed Coastal Virginia and Sunrise wind energy projects slated for the nation's East Coast. If approved, they could boast a collective capacity of 4,000 megawatts (MW) of power, enough to meet the demands of 1.3 million homes.
