Vale Reports Iron Ore Tailings Dam Failure Disaster at Feijao Mine in Brazil, an Industrial Info Market Brief

Brazilian iron ore miner Vale has reported a tailings dam failure, with up to 200 persons missing at the Corrego do Feijao iron ore mine in Brazil's Minas Gerais state. The Feijao mine is part of the company's Paraopeba mining complex. In 2015, Vale experienced a similar disaster at its Samarco mine, which remains closed.
