The Waitsia gas field is reputed to be one of the largest onshore discoveries in Australia.
The multi-phase development, which consists of drilling new wells and building a production facility to produce 250 terajoules per day, is expected to be completed sometime in 2023. A network of flowlines and gathering hubs will be used to connect the production wells to the new processing plant, which in turn will be connected to major pipelines.
