Researched by Industrial Info Resources (Sugar Land, Texas)--China produced 16.31 million metric tons of crude oil in November, up 2.7% over production in the same month a year earlier, and 3.9% more than in November 2019, according to China's National Bureau of Statistics.
Crude oil production for the 11-month period of January through November totaled 182.48 million metric tons, a 2.5% increase year-over-year, and 4.2% more than production in the same period of 2019, the bureau said.

China also imported 41.79 million metric tons of crude oil in November, down 7.9% year-over-year. For this year through November, imports totaled 466.84 million metric tons, down 7.3% year-over-year.

Finally, processed crude oil in November totaled 59.64 million metric tons, up 2.2% over volumes in November 2020, and up 5.5% over output in November 2019.
For the first 11 months of this year, processed crude oil volumes totaled 644.79 million metric tons, an increase of 4.9% year-over-year or 8.2% over the same period in 2019.
