Final EIS Issued for Jordan Cove LNG Project, an Industrial Info Market Brief

The U.S. Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) has issued its final environmental impact statement (EIS) for Pembina Pipeline's planned Jordan Cove liquefied natural gas (LNG) production facility. The site will be located at Coos Bay in Oregon. While FERC acknowledged some "temporary, long-term, and permanent impacts," the project's effects could be tapered to lesser levels with mitigation.
