Tennessee Valley Authority's Watts Bar 02 unit is holding at 90%, with 115 megawatts (MW) offline for turbine adjustments after a refueling outage, at its Watts Bar Nuclear Power Station in Tennessee. The unit will likely remain at a reduced load for the remainder of January.
Talen Energy Corporation took 99.76 MW offline from the Susquehanna 02 unit on January 17 at its Susquehanna Nuclear Power Station in Pennsylvania. The unit is coasting down in preparation for an upcoming refueling outage and operating at 92%. This event is expected to end March 19.
Energy Harbor LLC took 74.4 MW offline from the Perry 01 unit on January 18 at its Perry Nuclear Generating Station in Ohio in preparation for a refueling outage. The unit is running at 94% capacity, and this event is expected to end March 6.
