Bruce Power Limited Partnership on June 28 took the 781-megawatt (MW) Bruce A 03 unit fully offline at its Bruce A Nuclear Station in Ontario, Canada, due to a turbine trip after a unit service transformer (UST) failed. This event is scheduled to end July 2.
System Energy Resources Incorporated today, June 30, took 210.15 MW offline from the Gulf 01 unit at its Grand Gulf Nuclear Power Station in Mississippi, due to power suppression testing. The unit is holding at 85% capacity, but this event is scheduled to end today.
NextEra Energy Duane Arnold LLC today, June 30, took 198.33 MW offline from the Duane Arnold 01 unit at its Duane Arnold Nuclear Energy Center in Iowa, due to a valve-related issue. This event is scheduled to end July 1.
