Dynegy Zimmer, LLC took the 900-megawatt (MW) William H Zimmer 01A (HP) and 494-MW William H Zimmer 01B (LP) units offline, today, March 9, at its William H Zimmer Power Station in Ohio, due to an issue with electric controls. The cause is under investigation, and this event is expected to end March 12.
Georgia Power Company took 688.74 MW offline from the Hatch 02 unit, today, March 9, at its Edwin I Hatch Nuclear Power Station in Georgia. The unit is ramping back online from a refueling outage and is operating at 22%. This event is expected to end tomorrow, March 10.
Exelon Generation Company LLC took 80.5 MW offline from the Limerick 02 unit, today, March 9, at its Limerick Nuclear Power Station in Pennsylvania for unit testing before for an upcoming refueling outage on March 25. The unit is running at 93%, and this event is expected to end March 24.
