Motiva's 81,000-barrel-per-day (BBL/d) Fluid Catalytic Cracking Unit (FCCU) 3 at its 600,000-BBL/d Port Arthur, Texas, refinery returned to normal operations last weekend after shutting down for unplanned mechanical repairs on October 6.

Chevron, today, October 13, expects to restart the Lone Crude Unit at its 100,000-BBL/d Pasadena, Texas, refinery. The unit lost its steam supply on October 12.

Pemex TRI is running its 270,000-BBL/d Cadereyta, Mexico, refinery at reduced rates. The 120,000-BBL/d Combinada 1 (Crude 1) is running at 100,000-BBL/d, while the 150,000-BBL/d Combinada 2 (Crude 2) is offline. The 10,000-BBL/d Methyl Tert-Butyl Ether (MTBE) 1 Unit has been restarted, while the 6,000-BBL/d Hydrofluoric Alkylation (HF) 1 Unit and the 120-ton-per-day Sulfur Recovery Unit (SRU) 5 and SRU 6 units remain offline.

International
Kuwait National Petroleum Company (KNPC) has rescheduled a 25-day maintenance turnaround of the 40,000-BBL/d Delayed Coker 2 (Unit 20 - Train 2) at its 454,000-BBL/d (actual capacity: 420,400-BBL/d) Mina Abdulla Refinery in Kuwait. The turnaround now is expected to begin by November 1, and the restart is expected by November 25.

Gazprom Neft PAO shut down five units and associated secondary units, for planned maintenance, at its 400,000-BBL/d Omsk Refinery in Russia throughout late September and early October. The units will be gradually restarted and are expected to be fully operational by the end of November.

Ryazan NPK CJSC has restarted the 12,000-BBL/d Hydrotreater LCH-35-11/600 and the 13,578-BBL/d Reformer LCH-35-11/600 units at its 397,000-BBL/d Ryazan Refinery in Russia. Meanwhile, the restart of the 83,200-BBL/d ABT-4 (Crude 4) and the 49,900-BBL/d ABT-4 (Vacuum 4) units has been pushed to mid-October due to a lack of feed.
