Phillips 66 has almost completed a minor maintenance shutdown of the 122,000-barrel-per-day (BBL/d) Crude 3 and 60,000-BBL/d Crude 4 units at its 242,000-BBL/d refinery in Lake Charles (Westlake), Louisiana. The shutdown began on October 29 for decoking, and the units are expected to return to normal operations over the next 48 to 72 hours.

Pemex TRI has rescheduled planned repairs on the hydrogen unit at its 270,000-BBL/d refinery in Cadereyta, Mexico, which now will begin in November, due to equipment failures. In addition, six units are scheduled to restart by late November after being offline for repairs since October 18.

SK Energy Company Limited, today, November 8, restarted the 86,000-BBL/d Residual Hydrotreater (RHDS) 2 Unit at its 840,000-BBL/d Ulsan Nam-gu Complex in South Korea, after completing a 26-day planned turnaround.

Reliance Industries Limited (RIL) is operating its 760,000-BBL/d Jamnagar SEZ Refinery in India at approximately 98%. The 380,000-BBL/d Crude Oil Distillation Unit (CDU) 1 is operating at 99%, and the 380,000-BBL/d CDU 2 is operating at 97%. The units are tentatively expected to resume full throughput by November 22.

Kuwait National Petroleum Company (KNPC) has rescheduled a 25-day maintenance turnaround of the 40,000-BBL/d Delayed Coker (Unit 20 - Train 1) and 78,400-BBL/d Vacuum Re-run (Unit 13 - Train 1) at its 454,000-BBL/d Mina Abdulla Refinery in Kuwait. The turnaround now is expected to begin by December 1. The 25-day turnaround of the 40,000-BBL/d Delayed Coker (Unit 20 - Train 2) also was rescheduled, from November 1 to March 1, 2022.
