U.S. NGL Production Grows - U.S. production of natural gas liquids (NGLs) such as propane and ethane climbed 13% last year, as U.S. natural gas production continues to rise, the Energy Information Administration said. McDermott Joint Venture Wins Construction Contract for Mozambique LNG Project - A joint venture led by McDermott International (NYSE:MDR) will build a multibillion-dollar liquefied natural gas (LNG) export project in Mozambique, the companies announced Wednesday. Anadarko Petroleum (NYSE:APC) is awarding the Mozambique LNG deal to the joint venture, but French energy major Total SA (NYSE:TOT) is expected to take ownership of the project next year.
