Nissan to Renovate 60% of Product Portfolio in Mexico, an Industrial Info Market Brief

Nissan aims to increase its market share in Mexico, even as domestic and imported auto sales have decreased in the country, according to publications such as Mexico Now, MarkLines and El Economista.

Nissan experienced a 14.7% drop in sales in Mexico during the first half of 2019 following the exit of its Tsuru and Tiida models, according to the publications.

The Japan-based automaker now has a 20.6% share of Mexico's auto market, and is positioning itself as a market leader in Mexico, in part by overhauling its product portfolio.
