Industrial Info is tracking nine wind-energy projects in Argentina, worth just less than $900 million in total, that are in their planning or engineering phases and are expected to begin construction through the end of the year.
These projects will add 513 megawatts (MW) of capacity when operational; completion dates range from late 2020 through 2021. During the first half of 2019, wind projects added 367 MW to Argentina's installed base; another 1.8 GW are under construction and could begin commercial operations before the end of the year.
