In July, China's overall social power consumption reached 667.2 billion kilowatt-hours (kWh), an increase of 2.7% year over year. Of which, the power consumption in the primary industries (agriculture, forestry, fishing, mining, and oil & gas production) reached 7.6 billion kWh, an increase of 5.4% year over year; that of the secondary industries (manufacturing) reached 462.6 billion kWh, up 1.2% year over year; that of the tertiary industries (services) reached 111.0 billion kWh, an increase of 7.6%; that in the household of urban and township residents reached 85.9 billion kWh, an increase of 4.6% year over year, according to the Instant Statistic Report released by the National Energy Administration.

Of which, the accumulative power consumption in the primary industries reached 42.1 billion kWh, an increase of 5.2% year over year; that of the secondary industries reached 2,771.2 billion kWh, an increase of 2.8%; that of the tertiary industries reached 666.8 billion kWh, a jump of 9.1%; that in the household of urban and township residents reached 585.1 billion kWh, an increase of 8.8% year over year.
