Funding has been granted for Venture Global's Calcasieu Pass liquefied natural gas (LNG) production and export terminal in Cameron Parish, Louisiana. More than half a dozen banks from as many countries have invested in this site, with upwards of $7 billion total investment. The site is permitted, and early civil construction has begun. Commercial operations are expected in 2022.
