Namibia Power to Invest $330 Million in Renewable Energy, an Industrial Info Market Brief

Namibia Power Corporation (Nampower) recently announced a planned investment of $330 million to generate electricity from renewable energy by 2022. Nampower plans to build four power plants that will produce electricity from biomass, solar and wind power. The objective of Nampower's investment plan is to reduce its dependence on electricity imported from Zimbabwe, South Africa and Zambia.
