China's coal output totaled 330 million metric tons in August, a 5% increase from the same month last year, according to China's National Bureau of Statistics. From January to August, China's coal output totaled 2.41 billion metric tons, a 4.5% increase from the same period last year.
China's coal imports reached 32.95 million metric tons in August, a 14.9% increase from August 2018. From January to August, China's coal imports totaled 220.28 million metric tons, an 8.1% increase from the same period last year.
