Eni Vietnam has reached a breakthrough in its exploration in Block 114 in Song Hong Basin, offshore Vietnam. Through its exploration well (Ken Bau 1X) in the Ken Bau prospect, drilling has indicated a significant potential accumulation of natural gas and condensate. A drilling campaign is being planned by Eni next year in order to fully assess the discovery. Eni Vietnam serves as the operator and holds a 100% share of Block 114 and the neighboring Block 116.
