Thailand Proposes a New Chemical Law, an Industrial Info Market Brief
Thailand's proposed Chemical Act has been published to change the present Hazardous Substance Act and will classify chemicals based on health and environmental risks. In the new law, chemicals are divided into three classifications: low risk, high risk and prohibited. The proposal also will set up an agency to oversee and share information about chemicals and their safe handling and disposal.
