In the Metals & Minerals Industry, Barton Malow is gearing up to next year begin construction on a steel rail mill addition in Pueblo, Colorado, for EVRAZ Group plc (London, England). The facility will be built at a former coke plant, which closed in the early 1980s. The facility will produce 67,000 tons per year of steel rail and will be connected to Xcel Energy Incorporated's (NASDAQ:XEL) 240-MW solar power facility. Both the mill and solar facility are set to be completed in late 2021. For more information, see Industrial Info's project reports on the steel rail mill and solar power facility.

Barton Malow is gearing up for construction on an education and health sciences center addition at Frostburg State University in Frostburg, Maryland. The four-story, 100,000-square-foot building will accommodate research laboratories and provide training facilities for multiple health science fields.
