China's Coal Output up 4.4% Year Over Year in September, an Industrial Info Market Brief
In September, China's coal output reached 320 million metric tons, an increase of 4.4% year over year, which was 0.6 percentage point lower than the previous month. From January through September, China's accumulative coal output reached 2.74 billion metric tons, an increase of 4.5% year over year, according to the Instant Statistic Report of the National Bureau of Statistics of China.
In September, China's import of coal reached 30.29 million metric tons, a jump of 20.5% year over year, but was 2.66 tons lower than the previous month. From January through September, China's accumulative coal import reached 250.57 million metric tons, an increase of 9.5% year over year, which was 3.7 percentage points higher than the first half 2019.
