Australia's Norske Skog Albury Newsprint Mill Sold to Packaging Giant Visy, an Industrial Info Market Brief

In an AUD$85 million deal ($58.7 million), paper packaging producer Visy has taken over the Norske Skog Albury newsprint mill in New South Wales, Australia, and will discontinue production of newsprint by the end of December. Visy may manufacture paperboard at the mill in the future.
