China's Coal Output up 4.4% in October, an Industrial Info Market Brief
In October 2019, China's coal output reached 320 million metric tons (MMT), an increase of 4.4% year over year, which was the same level of the previous month, but the daily average output was reduced to 10.48 MMT by 0.32 MMT per day; from January through October 2019, China's accumulative coal output reached 3.06 billion metric tons, an increase of 4.5% year over year, according to the Instant Statistic Report of the National Bureau of Statistics.
In October 2019, China's import of coal reached 25.69 MMT, an increase of 11.3% year over year, but the growth was 9.3 percentage points lower than the previous month. From January to October 2019, China's accumulative coal import reached 280 MMT, an increase of 9.6% year over year.
