Several major offshore production contractors, including Malaysia's Sapura Energy, U.S.-based McDermott International, U.K.-based TechnipFMC, Italy's Saipem and Oslo-listed Subsea 7, are seeking the contract for the subsea umbilical, risers and flowlines package from Qatar's North Oil Company (NOC) for work related to its Al Shaheen offshore oilfield, according to Upstream.
