Valero will conduct planned maintenance at its 265,000-BBL/d Jean Gaulin Refinery in Canada, starting in April 2020. The event is now expected to last seven to eight weeks and will involve four units. The turnaround was previously scheduled for March 1, 2020, for a 30-day duration.
Husky Energy remains on schedule for a 35-day, plant-wide maintenance in April 2020 at its 77,000-BBL/d Lloydminster Upgrader in Saskatchewan, Canada.
Marathon will now conduct planned maintenance for the 73,000-BBL/d FCCU unit at its 167,000-BBL/d Martinez, California, refinery, starting June 5, 2020, which will last 60 days. The event was originally scheduled for January 10, 2020.
International
Raffineria di Milazzo SpA has completed mechanical works after a planned maintenance turnaround for three units at its 332,112-BBL/d Milazzo Refinery in Italy. Full restart of the units is expected within the next few days.
Total Refining & Chemicals has kicked off restarting procedures and rescheduled the completion of a major 9-week maintenance turnaround at its 205,000-BBL/d Gonfreville Refinery in France, which kicked off on September 7. Due to ongoing piping issues discovered during restarting procedures in mid-November, the Distillation, Deep Conversion 1 and Deep Conversion 3 areas are now set to resume full production in early December.
PKN Orlen SA has scheduled a planned maintenance turnaround for its 6,024-BBL/d Reformer I Unit at its 277,808-BBL/d Plock Refinery in Poland. The 1-month turnaround is scheduled to kick off in September 2020.
