Australia's Santos Lifts 2025 Production Guidance by 20% - Australia's Santos Limited on Tuesday increased its forecast for 2025 production by 20%, underpinned by oil and gas projects it plans to develop in Australia and Papua New Guinea. The company plans to produce 120 million barrels of oil equivalent (boe) a year by 2025, up from a forecast of 100 million boe previously, it said in a strategy briefing. (Reuters)
Israel's Leviathan Gas Field to Begin Supplying by End of Month - Israel's largest offshore natural gas field, Leviathan, will begin supplying the local market by the end of this month, with exports to Egypt and Jordan following shortly after, an official from the field's operator said on Monday. "Within 2-3 weeks we will open the wells and start to supply the gas," said Binyamin Zomer, vice president for regional affairs at Texas-based Noble Energy (NYSE:NBL), reaffirming the company's pledge to begin production by the end of 2019.
